About Us
Scratch are a London based comedy improvisation team. We perform our shows in different venues and locations all over the country. Last year we had a sell out show at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Recently we performed on television as part of the Brits 2007, and on radio for BBC Three Counties.

Our Show Formats
Stories from Scratch
An epic play created from Scratch. We specialise in comedy musicals set in exciting genres. It could be anything from a classic 'Western' to a dark and twisted 'Film Noir', From the 'Whodunnit' to 'Epic Disasters', its Scratch who dare to bring you genre spectaculars complete with musical backing and songs.
Last seasons Story from Scratch was an "Impro Noir" which we performed at the Pomegranate Theatre Chesterfield and the Pentameters Theatre London. Imagine the dark and twisted world of Film Noir brought to the stage as a musical.
This season we're adding the 'Western' to our reportoire. The excitment of the open plains, The fun of a bar room punch up, the flamboyant thrill of a saloon madam's underskirts. Coming to this site soon, y'all come back now ya hear...
The Reduced Edinburgh Fringe Impro show
See a whole new version of the fringe... Scratch style. A unique hour of improvised comedy, direct from the pages of the Fringe brochure.
The audience select the shows and Scratch perform them as you've never seen them before. Hamlet backwards. The Odd Couple in 'Nam. The Fringe AGM as a Hollywood blockbuster, set in IKEA.
The Reduced Edinburgh Fringe Impro Show comes to the Festival to ask the big questions: could The Odd Couple be even odder if it was written by Beckett? Does the Fringe AGM work as a Hollywood blockbuster? What careers advice was given to the Bangkok Ladyboys?
